Recently, I decided it was time to update the Mirar Salon website. We are really proud of our studio and I wanted to have a site that had the same degree of excellence . Today, Judi Knight of New Tricks is training me to take over the reins of my new WordPress based Mirar Salon website. I decided to go with WordPress which most people think of as a blogging software for several reasons:
- It is very Search Engine Friendly. Every time I write and tag a post or link to another site or add content to the site it creates links and a lot of search engine love.
- I can have an integrated blog page and in fact each of our stylists can have a page of their own with a separate blog page of their own. Could another platform have done this, yes but not with the ease of WordPress.
- The major reason that I chose to use WordPress for the new site is that I will be able to maintain it myself and all of our stylists can go in and post to the site as well.
